my fujifilm digital camera is acting weird. i just put brand new batteries in it and when i turn it on the green light comes on but not the screen or anything else and when i try to turn it off it wont go off and i have to take the batteries out to get it off. i cleaned the batery connection thingys and the batteries but its not doing anything its like a 350 dollar camera and had it for little over a year and the warrenty is off soo i cant change it or anything please help me

Yes it accepts xD cards… it is the Finepix S5500
my doubt is if it only works with fujifilm xD card (type M, M+ or H) or if it also works with olympus xD card (the same types)

i cracked the screen on my camera
you still take pictures,
there’s just a big crack in the middle of the screen
so you can see anything.
and i just got it for christmas
so i don’t really want to buy a new one.
help?
there is nothing on the screen. The shutter comes out as usual but there is a dark image on the camera screen. Where can I get it fixed in Toronto. Thanks.
