Welcome! My name’s Ben, and I’m a great fan of fujifilm digital cameras.
A year ago, I was shopping around for a good and powerful digital camera that would give me the most value for my money. I considered all the brands: Canon, Casio, Panasonic, Sony, you name it, I researched it. After all my research and reading all the reviews, I found only one outstanding brand: Fujifilm.
From what I know, Fujifilm wasn’t that strong a brand in the camera arena until fairly recently, when they developed their range of consumer digital cameras.
I took a look at their cameras and the quality of photos, and I was impressed.
Fujifilm has priced its digital cameras very competitively. The only grouse that I had with Fujifilm digital cameras was that they used the unpopular XD memory format, but no longer! My Fujifilm Finepix F11 used XD memory cards, but I upgraded to a Fujifilm F100fd, and realised that Fujifilm has since changed to the popular SD format!

I’ve been a digital camera owner ever since the very first clunky digital cameras came out on the market. I’ve tried many digital camera brands, but none were as good as Fujifilm. I currently own a legendary Fuji F31FD and a very handy Fujifilm F100fd, and in my personal opinion, Fuji digital cameras are much better than the rest of the digital camera brands in the market.
Why is Fujifilm the best digital camera maker around? Because, in terms of photo quality, night mode, and low light condition, nothing beats Fujifilm. Fujifilm also makes some of the most value-for-money digital cameras around.
Not all is rosy with Fujifilm though. I think that the digital camera’s menu may not be that intuitive or user-friendly as compared to the other brands of digital cameras. But it’s a trade-off that I’m willing to make, for the better sensor and lenses that I’d get with my Fujifilm digicam!
Which one to get? The Fujifilm Z10FD is not using Fujifilm original super CCD. You should get a z5FD (but note that this model uses the XD memory card) or the new Fujifilm F100fd which uses the SD memory card format. And if you want something better, invest in a Fujifilm F50fd. In any case, forget about the Fujifilm F31fd because it’s old, and uses the XD memory card with a maximum of 2GB memory support.
